A few words about myself
My name is Giulia Damiani, I was born and raised between Rome and the shores of Lake Bracciano and chose Frankfurt am Main as my second home: this is where I work as a conference interpreter, translator and sworn interpreter.
I obtained my bachelor's degree in translation at the University of International Studies in Rome (UNINT) with an Erasmus stay at the prestigious University for Interpreters and Translators in Germersheim (FTSK). I studied for my master's degree in conference interpreting at the Institute for Interpreters and Translators (IÜD) of the University of Heidelberg, one of Europe's top universities in the field, with an Erasmus stay at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. To add a further seal of quality to my skills, I became a member of the German Association for Conference Interpreters (VKD im BDÜ).
Living now with one foot in Germany and one in Italy, I am constantly in contact with different languages and cultures and have been able to develop intercultural skills thanks to which I approach every situation with the utmost discretion, sensitivity and empathy.
